Each set is made using our code cutting key machine and then numbered for your convenience. This set will work on Schlage and Schlage Everest lock setups. It will work on 5-pin (SC1) as well as 6-pin lock setups.
Depth keys are used for originating new keys using a standard key duplicator:
KEY #1 is contains all #1 cuts, KEY #2 contains all #2 cuts, KEY #3 contains all #3 cuts, and so on.
You can use these keys to originate new original keys using a standard key duplicator instead of an expensive code cutting key machine. This set is great for smaller property managers who rekey their own locks.
